Some things are really expensive, like hotels in Amsterdam, but we found the great train system to be very affordable. We explored by train and had no problems. It's a really reliable system.

We ended up picking just a few museums to visit while we were in town. Everything was so expensive we realized we just couldn't afford to do it all. Most of the museums are amazing though, so we spent tons of time in the ones we did visit.
